Uganda is found in East Africa, a landlocked country lying astride the Equator. It is bordered by many East African states and to the East; there is Kenya, and Tanzania to the South, D.R. Congo to the West, Rwanda to the Southwest, and South Sudan to the North.
National Parks are Uganda’s top attractions, and each has something unique for nature enthusiasts to explore and experience. Uganda is blessed with only 10 most spectacular parks including Murchison Falls National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Kibale National Park, Lake Mburo, Rwenzori Mountains National Park, Mount Elgon NP, Semuliki, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Mgahinga and Kidepo NP.
Mountain Gorillas are undeniably the most looked attractions in Uganda. Over half of the world’s remaining 1063 mountain gorillas all thrive in Uganda and they reside in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park and Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. In addition to mountain gorillas, Uganda also inhabits a variety of other interesting primates including more than 5050 chimpanzees, golden monkeys, L’hoest monkeys, red-colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, grey-cheeked mangabeys, and olive baboons, etc.
